Getting ready

I have finished a painting which was named "Getting ready". What was different in this process is that I haven't applied the colours as the ideas were first coming into my mind. Rather I cut out pieces of canvas and tried a variety of colour combinations and sat with most of them. Then I arrived at the color combination finally used in the painting.
